I regularly offer 4-8 week workshops in expressive creative writing using the AWA method. Writers often ask me how this type of workshop produces such rich, expressive work, and I respond the same way every time: “You really have to experience it to understand how effective and powerful it can be!”
In order to do as writers are told to do – show don’t tell – I’m offering a free AWA workshop!
With gently led prompts and exercises, participants have time to write, read their work, and receive immediate feedback. The morning will lend to creating rich, expressive work in fiction or creative non-fiction. This 2-hour writing workshop is suitable for all levels of writers from those who are just emerging to well established writers.
Come out and see what all the AWA fuss is about! There is no fee for this 2-hour workshop, but you need to register in advance. Class is limited to 10 participants.
Handouts and supplies are provided. Laptops not required.

Learn how to pitch a story idea, manuscript or screenplay to editors, publishers and producers. We’ll work hands-on so you can take the infomation, write a pitch, deliver it at the workshop, and recieve immediiate feedback!
